For this assignment we were to create a online portfolio by adding pictures and describing them.

One benefit i found useful for an online portfolio is using it for a job interview. I think by using an online portfolio it makes it look professional and its easy to read. 

The features were easy to use. some features include adding picture, video, text, themes, some effect for pictures, and contact form. 

The only challenge i had was PROCRASTINATION. Weebly was easy to use and i didn't have problems with it.

how i would use weebly in my future classroom is having my students use to create their own online portfolio. That way it saves them paper and i don't have to collect anything, but just go online and read their portfolios.

I-Movie Commercial

In this assignment we were to make a commercial about any invention in technology. We were to film and act out a commercial. After we got out clips we needed for the commercial, we then used the i-movie to edit and add special effects to make our commercial look awesome.

In our commercial we used the slow motion effect, audio effect (to change voices), themes, subtitles, and slides. I liked the special effect the i-movie had. because without it our commercial would look boring. My favorite would be of course the slow motion and audio effect because it made our commercial more entertaining and fun.

This would be an excellent tool to use for future teaching. The i-movie will make any subject that you are teaching a fun and good way for the students to remember things. It will make the students enjoy the subject. Also you can have the students film commercials about a specific subject.

The flip cam was small, easy to move around, and easy to operate. It helped us film some clips in our commercial. We Didn't need any line to connect to the computer because the flash drive was on the flip cam already, which made it easier for us to use. Another thing was for a little video camera it has a high resolution which made the clips clear.  One thing i didn't like about the flip cam was it didn't have a pause option. We needed a pause option on the flip cam to create the teleport effect, but overall not bad.

Overall I had fun filming, editing, and acting with my group. This will help me with not only future teaching but also future class projects.

week 2, second day of class

week 2 

Before Mr. Jenkins introduced us to two new softwares, wordle and buble.us, we did a ice breaker that was cool. we had to tape a blank piece of paper to our backs and walk around have our classmates write an adjective to describe you. After that he made us go to a website called wordle that made us create something cool with all the adjectives that everyone wrote about you on the piece of paper. Then it will generate a creative way to put all the adjectives they wrote on the paper. Then he made us go this website call buble.us which made us create a flow chart of our ideal school with technology. I think this two websites will be very helpful for future teachers because it doesn't make it look boring and it looks understandable. I give this a 10 :) 

Week 1, first day of class

During the first day in ed tech. Everyone got to introduced themselves and i got to meet new people. 

Mr. Jenkins got us set up for en grade and our nmc emails. This is was a big help for everyone because this will help us communicate with each other. The en grade will also be a big help. This will let us know what were missing and whats our grade for the class and instead of asking Mr. Jenkins whats our class and what we are missing, we could just go on our en grade. We also learned how to create a timeline online. I think this will help us in be a future teacher. Instead of drawing it and writing an event, you can save time by creating a timeline online.
